I was running an errand last night with the kids. Brown Eyed Women was playing when I turned off the car. As I am getting out of the car I hear my son finish the line to himself “sound of the thunder with the rain pouring down.” My job here is done.

We stopped for a pizza on the way home and in the restaurant there was a stealie on the wall. Daughter says look Dad that stealie is backwards.

My teen-aged(14) daughter has been lucky enough to have been listening to the dead her whole life. She never liked any of it during her childhood and would make fun of dad. But over the past few years she has become more of a fan and actually sings the songs with me now. So, needless to say, I'm a proud papa and can't wait to bring her to Lockn' this year with the wife and I.

I played Dead for my 2 a good bit. But it was no where near most of the time. I played all sorts of music for them and they have both followed their own paths musically. The older one has very strange and eclectic tastes. The younger one has a very broad if somewhat shallow appreciation for a lot of music. Her real jam is not something I can really listen to tho.
