Goes along with the discussion I had with Worf (who knows the stuff) about all the iterations of _PA's.
The "sell the label not the product" is deeply entrenched in the craft beer market just as it was (and still is) in the hot sauce market since the early 1990's, along with other gimmicks that won't affect flavor (dumping fried chicken in the tank, for example).
Last year craft beer production was up, but so was the number of craft breweries that went out of business. Expect to see more. The distilleries will follow IMO.

In this case, bottles, cans and paper box.
About two years ago the industry was threatened by a bottle shortage, and because the big guys had secured their supply, the small guys were going to be out of luck. It sorted itself out, but a learning point about the forces outside that affect the business far more than the product inside.

i think these mobile canning operations sound like a good idea. Local brewer likely can't afford the infrastructure, so they will pay a premium for the canning. Mobile canner can keep their productivity high with likely a high margin and low overhead after the initial investment. Lot's of ways to make a living.
