I was a 2018 first time attendee. Choice of pulling in or backing in was offered to me in GA RV. Depends which neighbor you want to face with your side door (and other things, like sun direction and field slope). Approach road (aisles) were plenty wide. Remember that people leave at different times on Monday morning, so you should be prepared to do either if you plan to leave early. I learned that festival goers are not exactly early risers!
BTW, arrangement for RVs was aisle, two rows of RV spaces, aisle, two more rows, etc.

Thanks for the info. I’m not completely hopeless at backing but it sure is easier if you don’t have to. This will be 5th year attending but first time not in a tent 😎. Just bought a used 24’ tag a long. Looking forward to it but also worried the scene won’t be the same. One of my fav parts is meeting new people that r your neighbors for 4 days. Everyone is outside and early when tent camping. Hoping to get lots of camping in this year for practice. I’ve pulled many a trailer and I either nail backing the first time and look like a Rock Star or I end up like Austin Powers. Forward back forward back for a bit.

You might want to get some arrival time advice here from some more experienced Lockn veterans, since you are towing. I just had to pull a 19-ft RV into a remaining slot at the end of early arrival on Wednesday night. You would probably do best arriving earlier to have more choices to pull through with the trailer.
You probably know the trick to hold the bottom of the steering wheel, and then the trailer goes the same direction you turn the steering wheel from that bottom position. Old boat ramp trick.

If not more so...this is from a Bloody Mary brunch we hosted at Festy 2017. You may recognize some of these characters. I think this was just before the campsite Cabinet set that was SOOO good...The RV campers are also as social as the car campers

We always used to do tent camping at festivals (and before). One year planning for All Good, we decided to try renting a pop-up, mainly because we noticed that the RVs were always in a much closer spot than the car campers. And we loved it! Bought our own pop-up a few months later.
RV is definitely the way to go! Pop-ups aren't even that much different than tent camping, other than you're up off the ground. It's just as much work, you're still under canvas. But we still like it a LOT more.
But next year we are going to get a travel trailer. Because we're getting old and lazy!

As a travel trailer owner I agree with this statement. A class A, B, C or a truck camper are all better suited for the old and lazy thelizard...If your reason for getting a TT is age and laziness, don't do it. Get a class A. We took this ‘87 Wanderlodge to L2 and L3 VIP. Two ACs, full size fridge, nice shower, ice maker, 100 gallon water tank. Yeah, it was comfortable. At L3 there was a hole in the VIP fence big enough to drive a Jeep thru, so all our GA friends and family were able to hang with us.

That thing probably had enough engine to make aerodynamics irrelevant. As the saying goes "with sufficient propulsion, pigs fly just fine". Yea, I'm not that old and lazy ... yet. Besides the TT is the next step (less work more comfort) from a pop-up. Besides, a class A (or B or C) is still another engine and drive train to maintain, in addition to all the storage and maintenance issues of owning either one. And I'm too old and lazy for that.

A friend of mine got one like the 400, and had it at Lockn'; it's teardrop shaped but a large vessel. Double bed in the back, very roomy.
