there is so much better food than pizza. Look for the Pie Guy

If I recall correctly, Blue Ridge Pizza was the better of the two, but YMMV.

It’s a shame that some of my favorite local vendors have stopped coming to Lockn (Goatacado, Sticks Kebab, Carpe Diem).

I brought pizza from NY last year and warmed in the cast iron skillet. When the weather was super hot the year before I heated up slices on the roof of the car. Blue Ridge pizza is ok. Spicy Pie from L1 and I think L2 was better.

It's good to have some vendors inside the venue and outside. Visited both last year, some really good selections (don't remember any good pizza though). I was a little nervous with the expanded show field that they might have ALL the vendors inside. Glad to find that's not the case.

I don't remember seeing any last year except near Garcia's and inside the show field. There were a few right outside the showfield main entrance, but I don't remember much other than ice and promo guys, but there may have been a breakfast / coffee place too.

Looks like the "Pie Guy" is back this year (WOOHOO!). What the heck is a "Vegan BBQ burger"?

Anyway, I'm doing ketogenic now, so even less choices than the vegan folks. Oh, well. Eat the meat and toss the bun, I guess, avoiding anything they cure with sugar!

Ooo... crispy pork belly! Hops Kitchen looks like a good late night spot. "Paleo Scramble" sounds good.
