At $8 a slice it better be good, or big.
Looks like a lot of the food choices are more expensive this year although I didn't do much comparison.
Don't see the fresh stuff like salads that have been popular in the past. Seems a place like the Grapevine, already selling gyros, could easily sell a Greek salad with huge profit.
Will need to get my veggies via V8/lemon/horseradish/celery/potato juice.
I might make a batch of gazpacho--it keeps well and goes with grilled cheese.
But the food looks interesting and varied and little if any State Fair fare, except a lot of expensive French fries.

That’s true. Prices are def high for some. I see Gouda Boys at every fest it seems And they’re usually 3 for $12 not $3 for $15

"Gangster roll" was a term either coined by, or described by, Tom Wolf I think in Man in Full or maybe Bonfires. "Bad guys" would saunter in the jails or courtroom, with sort of rolled forward shoulders, with that look--that's the gangster roll.
Not to be confused with the "gangster lean" when you ride in a car with your head against the door post between the front and back seats. See Curtis Mayfield "Diamond in the Back":

Just checked the menu. That all looks awesome. Now I'm hungry! There'll probably be a Biggie or ODB headed my way at some point that weekend.
