Bagels. You can't tell when they are stale; they soak up all of last night's residue; filling.

Back when I did tent camping at festivals, I would pre-make a bunch of burritos. I would wrap them in foil, load them into freezer bags, then freeze them. They thawed out on their own in the cooler and I would just thrown them in a pan on my camp stove to warm them up if I wanted it warm. I usually made two kinds: a breakfast some with eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, and cheese- then regular ones with beef/chicken, black beans, rice, and salsa.

Now that we bring our camper, I still try to keep it somewhat simple. We usually do big breakfasts: eggs, sausage, hash browns, pancakes (the kind that comes in the jug that you just add water to and shake) all cooked on our electric griddle outside in the camp kitchen. Protein bars, jerky, and fruit are usually a quick snack before we head into the show field for the day and dinner is usually vendor food. Then no festival is complete without a late night grilled cheese before crawling into bed for the night!

I always bring a tub of my world famous tuna salad! Plenty of relish and ice keep it fresh all weekend. Last year we brought some pulled pork, too, but this year we will probably do wings instead. Nobody at camp eats bread anymore, so we'll have sweet potato wraps for the tuna (plus lettuce, tomato, peppers, etc.)

Probably the only stove cooking will be eggs (with pre-cooked bacon) and a stir fry night.

We only eat breakfast and maybe lunch at the campsite. We generally eat vendor foods for dinner. We're taking bacon & eggs, hot wings, and some stuff for keto-friendly wraps. I don't go to LOCKN' to cook so I pre-cook everything except eggs.

Where did you say you're camping? 

Yeah, we gave up on elaborate cooking long ago. Even if there's a set we don't care about at a fest the size of Lockn there's too much trudge to get back to camp. We only do breakfast (which occurs around lunchtime) and latenight grilled cheese. This way we can also feel like we're supporting the vendors.

At the smaller fests the vendors are often friends or acquaintances, so sometimes we lazily buy breakfast too. Oh, and Sheetz on the trip/trip back!

roll cake sausage (pref. hot) in pie dough; freeze slightly to facilitate slicing; slice 1/2" thick; bake 350* x 20 minutes (watch them). Drain/cool on wire rack; refrigerate.

Great breakfast: bread, pork products, spice, grease. Serve with coffee and honeydew chunks.

You can freeze coffee and iced tea in smaller plastic bottles to start in the coolers then drink as they thaw. Makes a good walking drink since you can pitch the bottle when you get there.

there's nothing political or incorrect about eating well.

Stuff tastes like grass to me. Gimme good ol' American corn fed every day. And twice on Sunday.
