If I could add one artist to the 2023 lineup: phish =)

Hello, hope everyones getting excited! I am over joyed, spent last weekend with Phish at MPP and i'm just so stoked for next week!*!*!* Anyway, I recently stopped eating animal products- i'm wondering if anyone out there has any pointers for filling vegan snacks or have seen vegan food options at the food vendors at past Lockn's. Thank you!

I make a killer chickpea salad with chickpeas (obvi), cherry or grape tomatoes, red onion, cilantro, jalapenos, olives, and olive oil/lemon juice. I normally add feta, but it could easily be omitted. If you have a cooler, it should stay chilled through the weekend. I'm planning on bringing a batch for myself! Chickpeas are filling, without making you feel heavy and "blah".Hello, hope everyones getting excited! Morningstar also makes some tasty spicy black bean burgers that heat up great on a camping stove!

P.S. We were at Raleigh + MPP(x2) as well! I'm not sure I could be vegan walking down Shakedown and seeing/smelling all those grilled cheeses!

I think I use kalamata - but any type would work!

My fiance is vegan and it's a struggle, so sometimes she "cheats" and has some cheese, etc, but mostly it's doable. Looks like there are some good options this year. In the past we've loved Island Noodles, Roti Rolls and Bento Bus, although I can't even remember what festivals those were at, since we go to a few different fests/year, mostly around Atlanta.
From our look through the vendors listed, here's a breakdown:
Baozi -- Korean Soy Vegan BBQ – $14
Doom Street Eats -- Vegan Backyard BBQ Burger – $10
Holy Cow Food Truck -- LOTS of vegan options
Hops Kitchen: -- Vegan Scrambled Tofu Curry with Veggies
Shady Grove Wraps -- vegan wraps and salads
Sway - Veggie burger
That's about it, from the menu anyway...
We'll be bringing shelf stable Tofu to make scrambles in the morning, also making some beer-soaked cauliflower tacos that we make regularly that will be easy to cook up at camp.

Wow- Thank you everyone this is extremly helpful! My husband and I lucked out at MPP last week- as the venue is right next door to Whole Foods. Chic pea salad is the bomb and i can't believe i didn't think to bring it, what a great idea! I primarily snack at my site at festivals as i love to eat at the vendors and try new things, but i've never looked out for vegan options because i wasn't one! I figured Lockn' is accommodating to practically everyone- i just didn't want to assume. I'm by no means a ridiculously hardcore vegan- i drink beer thats not vegan for example, but when it comes to my actual diet i'm committed to staying away from animal products.
3 more days ya'll! I really hate to wish my life away but i'm looking at my schedule jam packed with meetings at the good ol' 9-5 and i just need the next few days to go by quick!
