I noticed that banner ads were showing up again so I checked and we had already exceeded the 50,000 ad free page views by 8/6/18

. Normally that is enough to last a month. Anyway I just grabbed another 100,000 so let's see how long that lasts. Hope that this improves your experience here in some way...

how does our traffic compare to previous years? no need for the in depth post hoc I am sure we will do out of boredom on the backside, but wet finger in the air calc.

I can do some more detailed data mining later but page views seem to be up this year.

8/1/2017-8/31/2017 291,689 page views

8/1/2018-8/17/2018 ~180,000 page views
