crinkling crackling plastic water bottles and cups everywhere underfoot, esp. in vip. The beer vendors were not allowed to pour beer into my SS cup so if I poured their plastic cup into mine, same waste.

Moving the morning piano performances from the forest to that porch. Total ugh.
Very little shade, and the foot traffic of shoppers killed the vibe.

Only part of the weekend that wasn't perfect for me was the security line at the show field gate. It was just ridiculous and humiliating. I was compliant with all the silly rules but they just seemed to make it harder than it had to be. One guy told me i had to dump my last quarter bottle of water so I told him he could dump it (my hands were completely full of all the shit I had to take apart for the search). He poured it out and stabbed the bottle mouth into the dirt. I can't prove it was out of spite, but it took more energy than just pouring it out. pretty shitty. If they are going to have pat downs and search even 4x5 bags, they need more lines as it took way to long to get in.

Agreed. I didn't get my ADA wristband until Sunday, because I can walk. The gate opening at the same time as the act was a huge mistake--even closing access to the field all morning makes no sense and even hurts the vendors who could sell breakfast. One complainer had a very good point: they sold him a ticket to a show--Grateful Grass--and then didn't let him in. What concert opens the gates at showtime?

At this point why do they even use the Relix stage? It serves no real purpose. Put all of the shows on the main stage and no one has to move until they go home.

Yes I do not understand the "late" night stage being next to main stage. Also for those leaving they have to walk right through us boogieing.
I guess only reason is to be able to have 1 security check point and have alcohol available.

I agree that the main stage crowd exiting through the Relix crowd is a design error and am surprised it was not fixed this year.

My biggest pet peeve was I brought a Hydration back with 1 small extra pocket in the front and they let it in Thursday night without any issues. Friday I tried to get it in and this guy said I couldn't take it in because it was too big while the girl right next to me let a guy in with a non-clear book back that was bigger than mine. I pointed it out and he shrugged and told me I had to turn back....I told him I'll just go get in her line then and have her check me in then since she's letting people in with bigger bags and guy said he'd take my wristband if I tried to pull that shit. Made me walk all the way back to camp to get a smaller bag that fits basically nothing....the volunteer checkers were great, Axes staff were dicks..

The line to get in at times was way too long. I thought the clear bags were supposed to speed it up. I also thought not being able to bring in the spray cans of sunscreen was a bit much but those were really my only gripes.

I've come to the conclusion that there is only one explanation for having the relix stage. Lockn' will be Lockn'.

Rules for what you could bring into venue were weird and unevenly enforced.
Relix stage was more than pointless it was detrimental as it forced a large crowd to pack in and took away the video and the PA system was not as good as main stage IMO.
Our RV search was very cursory while I saw others being very thoroughly searched. Sort of like those random searches TSA does at the airports I guess.
