2018 minor irritations

Agreed as well, I bought air chairs & had one with me all of 17. I brought my best friend who has some knee problems and we each had one. They wouldn't let us in with them from the Forrest / RV entrance, then when we get in we see people sitting on air chairs, been through the whole water bottle experience all my years, at least this year if you timed it right you could pop in and out.  Went out and bought a fanny pack (YUK) which was more like a shoulder strap because it didn't close tight enough around my waist, carried my keys, and smokes, and a hacky sack, pretty much all that would fit. There were free C'ville clear bags for free in the merch tent out past RELIX stage found that out halfway through the fest & I saw two British gents with actual LOCKN' clear backpacks, they said it was part of the package they purchased okay UK. Some points the search was quick, but traditionally the later it gets, and closer to headliners the search gets more intense. Other years the were not as bad in line but worse at the vehicle search. One dude had me lift my hat once, no other time or from the same dude after that. I always do Forrest, and like to pop back and forth to cool down 16 was a hike, since then the new set up is close. I like to have fun and LOCKN is my happy place, Saturday night before D&C I was dancing and slipped a little on the mound leading to the beverage line, I wait in it, and the chick says I'm stumbling, and she can't sell me a beer. If you look like you are having too much fun or walking on a hill in the dark stepping on the cups and other various items discarded on the planet you get flagged. The next night there was no problem. I am sure it's a result of the 71i arrests the previous year, I met a dude Friday morning and like 2 hours later I saw him leaving in cuffs. The nitrous mafia was out and about and each hiss brought a brigade of Sherriff John Brown into the woods. Still though, you are throwing a music festival that celebrates Jerry and the Dead. A few bad apples spoils the bunch so they say. All in all I had a great time and it was my best friends first LOCKN' who has heard all the stories from my other trips to the farm, just have to contend with every year is different. #bekind
