First World Problems - VIP Survey

The lines were long for porta johns in the VIP viewing area were long. If you just have to piss it is faster to exit the VIP area and hit the troughs that were next to the Relix stage and return to VIP. 

We camp in VIP RV. I don't use the air conditioned bathrooms or showers in the campground, I have those in my RV. I didn't eat any of the food in the lounge. I sat outside in the VIP courtyard for maybe 30 minutes. Stayed in the VIP viewing area for probably less than an hour. BUT we had the closest RV sites to the entrance. No search or lines going into the venue. Super easy in and out back and forth to camp when you needed a break/drink/snack. Are we getting the most bang for our VIP buck? Nope. Will we do it again next year? Yep.

If I had paid for VIP and faced this scenario, I would not be a happy camper either. 

The VIP lounge needs a TV inside and outside of the tent with a live feed of the stage.  That doesn't seem too difficult.  An extra shade structure over the grass portion would be nice too.

VIP viewing area was better Sunday than Saturday.  It was so crowded Saturday there was hardly room to dance.  Sunday (weary legs maybe?) it was really easy to move around and get up close and towards the center.

I thought the sunday brunch was good enough.  Thursday BBQ was very "meh".  late night pasta on thurs was good, I tried getting food a couple other nights but I was too late to the party.  

I was in the back of VIP car camping and close to the "new" bathrooms and showers.  I did wait for a stall a time or two, but it was never too dire a situation.  Anyone who used a GA  camp porto at any time throughout the weekend knows how nice the VIP ones were.

For this location, bikes were so clutch.  A 3 minute bike ride to the gate made it easy to go in and out of the venue whenever we wanted (just for a quick bite, half a day time set, whatever) and saved our legs.

Easy, stress free entry into the campground and easy access to the showfield.  A dude warned me about my backpack being "too large" (standard daypack size, but not even a hydration pack) but the same guy let me through the next two nights with the same bag.

Is it worth triple the cost? No.  Would I do it again?  yes. 

Some things you can't put a value on...like not having your shit stolen from your campsite, not having someone shit in your car, or being able to walk in to VIP viewing area at the end of TTB and be on the rail by the end of the first DeadCo set 

Based on the results of the Customer Experience Survey, next year the VIP tent will include an indoor swimming pool, water slide, tennis courts, and mini golf course.

yes I heard High Filed had about a 20 minute wait and I saw a number of people walking around from the main gate to that one.

My camp is in the tents in the corner there so I could hear well and monitor the line situation. I posted a couple of MccJeff's "Prohibited Items" lists in the crowd for their entertainment.

For me, because the VIP experience failed my expectations in L2 and again in L3, I'm happy to be coming in GA. Car camping for all.

As it should. Throw in a popcorn machine and discounted beverages (including mixed drinks and wine for those who don't care for beer). There really is no excuse for there not being a video/audio feed in the tent and air conditioning that actually drops the temp 10 degrees. Also I want to know WTF about the coffee table book. No mention of it in the VIP lit. this year, but last year it was claimed that the swag was skimpy due to us getting them.

For the record, the line actually crested the top of the hill at one point. So more than double possibly triple the length shown here.
