 Probably not. A different vacation perhaps. We've talked about wanting to see (and hug) giant redwoods for years, it may be time.

I just asked Mrs. TOO if we were in (knowing the answer). She said "Hell yea, we are in for life!" Have I mentioned how much I love her lately?

There are so many people doing that now that they are about to start requiring reservations. Of course “lumni” get the first pick and best trees. The lumni code this year is patchouli 🙂

I'm getting a little disappointed with Lockn. From everything I've read (here and around), my own experiences of this and other festivals, to the prices this year, what I'm piecing together is it's become more of a place to be seen rather than to listen and even a perceived value over price is lacking now. I was really thinking I was going to jump on this year's Lumni but after the experiences of VIP goers and an increased price, I'm going to stay neutral till I get more information.  

The only thing I can think of compared to other festivals which have remained constant value/expectations is that Lockn went big too hard and too fast and is now trying keep as much identity while scaling back expenses/logistics and increasing profit. I don't begrudge them that, but I'd rather they try to really think about their identity and long term health and work from there rather then death of a thousand cuts as they try to figure it out.  

I am really sorry to hear this. I saw your earlier post about your problem with the site and your mobility issues. I made a point to mention it when I filled out my Post Lockn survey. I hope they will address the issues and you re-consider your decision. 

If VIP isn't well improved from this year, it's not worth it to spend $900, let alone $1200.

It seems as though the ones who complain or are unhappy seem to be the loudest. I certainly don't go to be seen. Yes the VIP value was off this year. They'll fix it. Prices went up some, no big deal. Try not to overthink it, life is short. 

You don't see many complaints about the cost of GA, camping or even RV. The discussion consistently goes to comparing the additional value to the additional cost of going from GA to VIP.

Many will note that getting an RV is a good middle ground between GA and VIP camping, and meets the cost about in the middle.
