It's a city fest but I've heard great things. I think it was completely washed out last year?
Looks like a really great lineup, not bad for $169.50
My only complaint is what looks to be pretty short sets (last year's schedule below)

short sets are usually the downside of festivals--but sometimes they are a blessing! Looks like headliners get about 1 1/2 hours, too.
Saturday's line up shows great potential for collaborations and has artists who are known to do that.

City fests aren't my favorite overall, but they're good to just hit a day or two if you like the lineup on those days.

Also, pretty cheap for this type of lineup. It's less than 4848 Fest, pretty mind blowing.

I'd have a hard time at that fest because the "workshops" compete with the music! I went to the Bourbon Classic* a few years ago and saw similar programs, and loved them. Whisky and mixology are among my hobbies.
So if anyone goes this year, catch some of those events!
*Better way to taste, appreciate and learn about bourbon and related whiskeys than driving the "trail" IMO; the whole trail comes to you!

Last year it poured hard almost the whole first day. Poured so heavy it was real hard to enjoy the music. Even in VIP under a big tent it was crammed beyond normal comfort.
It was beyond muddy, the local roads flooded and supposedly the stability of the stage was even in question so they cancelled the second day. They even cancelled the festival scheduled for the following weekend.
The RVs had to be towed out by four wheel drive tractors and bulldozers, completely ruined the soccer fields.
This year is near the convention center so at least mud will not be an issue. This is a series of three weekends, same venue, the main weekend as above, another weekend is country and a third weekend is Metal. I wonder if spreading out the infrastructure costs has kept the cost down?
We are going, we live real close. But I never touch Bourbon so to me it's just a regular festival.

I love bourbon, but a music fest is not typically the time I indulge in it. Not a great recipe for staying awake all day. Plus I’ve done most of the Bourbon Trail spots on bachelor trips anyway.
Couldn’t care less about the bourbon aspect, lineup is great and a great value.

When it comes to bands and bourbon, seems you'd typically do one or the other, except my sister Jane who runs the bourbon all day even on the beach.
When we went to the Bourbon Classic we has so much hot straight bourbon that on the evening of the third day, had to have gin martinis!
