Smosey - I was reminded of our conversation about old tools at Rooster Walk.

As I was growing up and learning to use (and lose) his tools, all of my fathers tools were old, beat up and well worn as he had already acquired the standard household toolset decades ago and saw no need to replace any. And I still have a couple of them.

So all his tools looked like this on the right.

I was looking at it I realized that it was my hammer that I bought in the early 80's...

My god, we truly turn into our parents.

I love using old tools and cooking utensils especially ones from family. I have a lot of stuff from grandparents on all sides, and my late parents, and I connect with them whenever I grab the handle.

Let's see...15 years ago today we had a 10 yo and a 15 yo, weren't really seeing any shows and stayed at home most of the time raising kids. Life was good!

Fast forward 15 years to today... we see shows as often as we can, we go to maNy shows WITH our kids and are gone most weekends camping somewhere or another. What a difference 15 years can make!

The country music star performed at Kyle Field at Texas A&M in College Station, Texas over the weekend and set a new record for the largest US ticketed show in history.

The crowd topped at 110,905 people, which broke an all-time attendance record set by the Grateful Dead at New Jersey’s Raceway Park in 1977. A little over 107,000 concertgoers were in attendance at that Dead show.

That’s how I dance now ... loosewrists instead of looseankles. Last weekend we were at Alder Creek Farm for music festival. At one point I was up by the stage and wanted to toss my cane and break out into my old dance moves. Hopefully that time will come **soon**!

I got my ticketmaster breach notice last night, 1 year free credit monitoring! yay!

I used to think credit monitoring might actually do something, until I bought a car and didnt get any notification about the credit hit. (I had a previous free 2 years from a different breach)

If I'm not getting notifications for buying a car with a loan, what the hell good is it.

I agree the credit monitoring doesn't do much; I had it a while ago after a theft attempt.

I have email alerts on my cards for any internet transaction and any transaction over $500.

Ticketmaster was hacked earlier this year and they got names, emails, etc.--I got the same alert.
