One of the Jim Beam warehouses is on fire! Luckily it’s mostly younger stock and won’t affect supply.
Approximately 45,000 barrels of bourbon are at risk as firefighters continue to battle a blaze today at a Jim Beam warehouse at the former Old Crow Distillery on McCracken Pike near Versailles, Kentucky.
The initial fire, which spread to the second warehouse, may have been sparked by a lightning strike on Tuesday night.
Fortunately, there are no injuries reported at this time. Jim Beam’s full statement is below.
Woodford County Emergency Management says that the two barrel warehouses at a Jim Beam aging facility caught fire around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday.
According to the Emergency Management, crews were able to extinguish one warehouse, but crews could be working at the scene through Wednesday night.
Reports are that a second emergency response team was tasked with bringing foam to contain the fire, and a local business was hauling sand to the scene to limit runoff from flowing into a nearby creek.

I saw that previously, so I guess these new flavors must come from that lawsuit they recently settled. Sadly I can't find the Pabst APA around any more; I had it at the exchange last year and it was well received.

Comical coming from duclaw, of all brewers. they lead the world in what I call "not part of the brewing process additives" to create their "flavors". Not a fan.

Went out with some coworkers last week and had the most interesting beer that I may have ever tried. It's called 420 Strain Mango Kush Wheat Ale and it's from Sweetwater. Smelling this beer in draught form is like sticking your head into a bag of very fine cheeba. It was one of the wildest experiences I've ever had with a beer. 4 others had to order one after smelling my glass. I'd recommend it.

Still haven't tried the mango kush ale but have had the g13 ipa a few times. Pretty good and pairs with a doob nicely. They use terpenes if I'm not mistaken.
I'm waiting for sour diesel double ipa...
