As endless said, your friends cannot drive to your site, and you cannot disconnect and drive to get them. There are some limitations stated somewhere about the number of people at your site but that's just there to deal with problems. ETA: Baby Bear sites restricted to six campers; nothing in the others. First time at Lockn. I am coming in Thurs morning. How early should i get there to get a decent spot? Also, have two friends coming in Sat, can they come in and join us at our RV spot? Also if they do that, can they put a tent up on our spot? I know they would have to leave their car somewhere else, but would they be able to carry their stuff to where we're set up? Thanks for any input!

Your friends can camp with you. But most likely they will have to buy a car parking pass ($40?) and haul their gear to your site, which, if you are in Momma Bear, is quite a haul. But they could hire a golf cart shuttle, or better yet, load their stuff in your RV before you head to Lockn. A friend set up a tent under an easy up last year at our RV site.First time at Lockn. Thanks for any input!Two things to note about the spot you'll be directed to. 1 - Some RV folks will have "early entry" and will be coming in Wednesday, so they will already be there when you arrive Thursday morning.2 - Lockn' doesn't necessarily put first arrivals in the best spots. Sometimes early gets you a better spot, sometimes later arrivals get a better spot. Folks have complained about that in the past, but there is really no way of knowing what they will do.That said, it's a good strategy to try to arrive about the time the gates open, or no more than 1/2 hour or so before. Too early, and you won't even be allowed to queue up, they'll turn you around.On the other hand, later arrivals (after 10:30 or so) the last year had a much shorter line and a shorter wait. Roll of the dice!

Anyone know a place close to Lockn' to fill the RV fresh water tank? We'll be traveling south on 29 from 64.
