2019 food vendors are listed on the website now, with menus but not locations.

Usually there is a food truck or two and super crowded coffee stand up at Garcia's area and I think in High field. They really need to open the show field early for food access esp. Sunday.

The great news is The Pie Guy returns!

Much as I love to cook and hate to spend money, please support the vendors; they need us and they are putting out top quality and interesting fare. If they don't make it, we'll be stuck with fried twinkies and turkey legs.

The location of each vendor is shown if you click on the vendor in the app. Main field, campground, VIP. Also there is a menu for each vendor with prices.

If you want to “support” the vendors, pay them cash money. If you pay them with cashless, it could be awhile before they receive a check for their cashless sales.

Here are the terms for the vendors. Lockn gets a flat fee plus 30% of gross plus a fee for point of sale terminals.

I don't believe blue ridge pizza was there last year but in 2017 that was a great deal for some primo pie.

Breaking out my maths, that means they need to sell 2587 risotto balls before breaking even with Lockn (not including their own food/equipment/employee costs)

Assuming Noon-Midnight now that there is no late night relix stage, that means they need to sell 54 balls per hour to pay Lockn.

p.s. I'm perfectly willing to accept I am horrible at math and these numbers are completely wrong.

not to quibble but those 12 people aren't seeing a lot of music. Maybe three at a time. and camping is not a plus for everyone, especially while working and camping with the boss. It's not like the fest staff and volunteers (when they had them) who work a couple of shifts.

I will have a 50 cup going Sat , Sun, and Monday morning in Momma Bear RV camp (can’t get to the farm until Fri morning). Nothing worse than a desperate search for caffeine in the morning. All are welcome to it. Will have a Thor RV with a white dancing bears flag and a blue steal your face/Garcia flag in front. 3 weeks!

I recall sometimes they have smaller food truck "coffee wagons" here and there; they could use more. Seems that should be more of a service than a profit center.

It probably is. Can't imagine paying those Lockn' vendor fees and making a profit selling coffee. Doesn't seem doable.
