This year we're gonna try out the off-site option so that I can bring our 4 @ 5 year old. (Because my 5 year old literally told me that "if you won't take me to see Moe. on Sunday, I'll find a cool dad that will," lol) Just wondering if any has any tips or advice, we've always camped previously.

He's was being snarky, he's gotta a pretty good sense of humor for his age. He's always telling my buddy, who's a MoeRon that I don't go to Moe shows because I'm jelous Umphreys can't do what they do (granted I've been to 108 Moe shows and he's seen 12, but O guess the fandom runs deep in this one.

Very much recommend Wintergreen!
My crew and I have been renting a house in Wintergreen for each of the LOCKNs.
Its about 40 minutes to the venue -we generally play frisbee all day up on the mountain
and then drive over as the sun i going down -you miss some bands but have no heat
exhaution/sunburn. At least 10 degrees cooler on Wintergreen than in the valley.
