Poppa bear Rv site and companion vehicle

My family members in the GA Poppa area are trying to find out the same thing and exactly where the companion parking is; they have late arrivals, too. It makes a big difference if it's the long hike from day parking.

It would make sense to put it in the forest camping parking lot or that general vicinity; I recall from last year lots of open room around there.

Nothing on the site plan that I recall but I can't check because I burned it....

ETA Andy has corresponded with Melissa but she hasn't answered, and knowing how helpful she is, that means she doesn't know yet.

Now I remember big RV's there last year so I was wrong; they run power there. It's not that far, maybe closer than the Oak Ridge site.

however, a long uphill hike from day parking for those arriving late--take a "taxi"
