Double agreed. Last year's perfection was exceptional for third week August. Staying out of 90s for three days likely will deliver more overall comfort to everyone than three days without any showers this time of year. Let the rain fall during nap and sleep times!

Packing tonight the rain overalls (pants), raincoat, golf umbrella, PURCHASED folding umbrella TODAY, knee height waders (wellies). So obviously no rain will occur. If it is threatening still, I can always go to the hip waders or chest waders, but those are only for football games in torrential downpours, in fall or winter weather.

Looks like a NE system is coming in before dawn Friday and will sit on us for three days—some rain at first then overcast and damp the rest of the time—but no wind or trops.

well it did what everyone said it would do: whatever it wanted. Overall great weather for a fest with respect to those who lost stuff in storm1 (which a harbor pilot friend who was on the top of the hill estimated 50 sustained at a time).
