Festy Experience 2014

You will love it sneake. I went the to the second solo and then PJ & I have gone together the last couple years. Stringdusters play a couple sets and are one of my favourite touring bands. It is AT A BREWERY! The weather is nice and cool and the mountains are beautiful. They are the ones you see the sun setting over when you are at Lockn. We have seen some amazing shows. Grisman, RRE, Leftover, Trampled by Turtles, John Schofield Uberjam, Chris Thile & Michael Daves, JJ Grey & Mofro, Emmitt/Nershi, Nicki Bluhm & the Gramblers, Della Mae, Tony Trishka,  Larry Keel & Natural Bridge, Giant Panda Guerrilla Dub Squad, Elephant Revival, Floodwood, Lake Street Dive , White Horse, Cabinet, Chris Jones & The Night Drivers, Steel Wheels and more . You may not know all those bands, we didn't, but I guarantee you want to.  We saw Erik Berry, the mando player from Trampled by Turtles and Andy Hall the dobro player from Stringdusters do an all acoustic Black Sabbath set. That was insanity. Schofield sitting in with the Dusters was nuts. Really a cool vibe at it. Very locally oriented. I think Travis Book, the bass player for the Stringdusters lives right there. They use the Klean Kanteen folks and you get a stainless steel pint glass as part of your ticket. That is what you use for free water and for beer. No plastic cups at all. You might can tell that I really like this fest. AND ITS AT A BREWERY!
