Welcome to the Lockn' Forum - The home of the original Lockn' Music Festival family!
I can also do without One More Saturday Night. It goes on the list of songs for the Why I Don't Like the Grateful Dead people. As does Space/Drums. Oh, and maybe Quinn but that's because my last show at Hampton was Furthur playing that. Just for fun. Please note: This forum is in no way officially associated with Lockn' Festival or its promoters.
i have a quandary, wwyd?

If a song is played in next four shows is it out of rotation or will there be any repeats in these six shows? Both sides have their drawbacks. If I follow setlists and one of my favorites like WRS or TOO is played then I will be slightly disappointed going into Hampton. If I don't follow setlists and I talk to someone in Hampton and say "I hope they play WRS tonight" then they may come back and say "hey dumbass they played that shit last night and it was epic!".

I would think there would be no hesitation in repeating songs, except in our two shows at the same venue. And even then, if it's a good one, why not?
A general idea of what's been played may be useful but as you allude, if you overthink it you may be disappointed.

As for repeats there will be some MSG songs at Hampton, hopefully all from Friday since Im only doing MSG tomorrow. Its possible 1-2 Nassau N1 songs make it into Hampton N2. General rule of thumb for this band is theyll bring out 2-3 repeats after two full shows in between. Which means anything from MSG is technically fair game for Hampton with those two Nassau shows in between (another reason to be mad about the Nassau dates).

So, given that, I go blithely into the night, no expectations other than hoping it's a good night when the boys are on it and crowd becomes one organism.
But that's me.
If, however, anticipating, guessing the openers, and following setlists brings you joy - then by all means indulge yourself. There is room on the bus for everyone. (Except at the Best Western.)

Attics of My life Saturday encore, NOT One More Saturday Night
St. Stephen - gets my feet moving every time.
Playin' in the Band - one of my all time favorites
Eyes of the World - another one of my all time favorites, but frankly I might just be a bit weary of it after hearing every band at every Lockn' play it...
Terrapin Station - I used to dislike this song, I considered it 'filler'. But after forced listening (they seemed to play it every time I saw them) it kind of grew on me - and as I became closely familiar with the music and especially the lyrics (RIP Hunter...). It became a song I wanted to hear every time I saw them. I was at an Other Ones show - first one for me after Jerry died - and Hornsby teased it. I had tears in my eyes...
Morning Dew/Stella Blue - I like these but goddamn! they are slow...
Help On The Way>Slipknot>Franklin's Tower - well, duh! Loved that combo since 1973. My nom de deadhead is a play on that song and my last name (Lynch).
China Cat Sunflower>I Know You Rider - my original ticket for the bus.
Space/Drumz - Not my favorite. Good time for a piss/drink/food break or to wander and see the sights. Only time I ever really enjoyed it was in Seattle '95 in an otherwise horrible show. I was doing acid at the time... oh, right.
I enjoy the others, but they have no special meaning to me.
Yeah, I know it's O.T. I'll throw the flag on myself.

I like TOO's second set better than the first (dividing at Playing in the Band). The first has great stuff but the second would be more fun for me.
I need:
Sugar Magnolia
Any Merle Haggard or "cowboy tunes"

Number one request is WRS/Let it Grow. Have not seen Let it Grow since Fall of '17, and this band has never done WRS
Also want St. Stephen/11, didnt see a single 11 this summer
PITB is a great song but I went to over 50% of the shows summer tour and I think I saw PITB at each one.
Also want more Pig. Havent seen 'Next Time You See me' since '18
Give me another Viola sandwich/Viola reprise. I love when they break the song up throughout the set ala Alpine '18. Honestly though if the entire second set is a 1.5 hour Viola Id be cool with that too
And would like at least some of these bust outs
-Foolish Heart
-aforementioned WRS
-Duprees
-Caution
-and of course, give me a Chinatown Shuffle bust out .

But I like the concept. Seems like something Keller might do. I'd like to see JRAD do it.
