Note the Jeff Matson and the Dino English appearances (both DSO members) which shows some potential for Lockn' based on recent intel.

Would love to go to this one year but it is always the same weekend as RoosterWalk. Basically boils down to either a 90 minute round trip pulling a camper or a 90 minute round trip. Maybe another time...

Also Delfest. Only about 30 minutes further than Rooster, and Allison Krause and John Prine. Pretty much have the wife roped in I think.
Edit...I had Merlefest's lineup in mixed up with Delfest. Merle's in April, so I'm still in play

Jubilee, DelFest, and Roosterwalk all the same weekend is a tough decision. Jubilee and DelFest are each a 4 hour drive. Roosterwalk is much further. But the small size of Jubilee (and the fact that it's BYOB) always seems to win out for us.

That's an awesome lineup.
But ... I've never been to Roosterwalk, and it's less than half the distance...

I highly recommend RW. It doesn't have BYOB but that is not a big selling point for me. Chill, family friendly fest with a small footprint. Never disappoints. Plus LOTS of forum family in attendance.That's an awesome lineup.

Susan obviously has no conflict that weekend, the RW lineup is always great, it's comparable distance, plus the added draw of getting to hang with you fine folks.
And yet we go to Jubilee. That's how much fun I have there.
It is one of only two places we see our Chicago/Indiana friends, but we're getting a bonus NYE visit from them, so I promise to at least think on it some more.
