December 26th is a holiday pretty much everywhere in the world except in the U.S. Unfortunately that means it's a regular working day for me.

Anyway, I live in a place where it's extremely easy to get rid of stuff like that. I just set it out and the end of the drive and in a day or two somebody will get it. Sometimes I have to put a "FREE" sign on it, or people will come up and knock on the door and ask if it's free.

Apparently it's a good shopping road, too. Twice I've put things out there with "for sale" signs on them, and while I was inside the house putting together a Craigslist ad, somebody came and knocked on the door and bought the stuff.
