Bonaroo Live Stream

just got back from this last night. had a great time. superb weather. awesome neighbors on all sides that me and my girl ended up hanging out with all weekend. was at the main venue from about 1pm to 2am every day. so sunburned. totally worth it. found a lot of bands that i really enjoyed that i hadnt experienced before. jack white(my personall all time fav) fucking killed it. closed out saturday night and played about a 1 1/2 hour encore. was absolute insanity. elton john was a snore and we ended up leaving early that night. oh ya, and FUCK KANYE

Oh yea Lionel Richie. The only feed I watched all the way thru. He sounded so good.

this is a good quality of Roo. i get to see a lot of people that i would never normally see. cage the elephant was amazing. ms mr was a lot of fun. there are many more, but i'm still processing the whole experience. 

Banjer, he actually mentioned that in the show. he said something along the lines of "there are two types of people here. there are those that know who i am, and there are those who's mothers and fathers and brothers and sisters played the music while you were growing up."  he was well aware that there were plenty of people there that didn't know who he was. i was one of those people. i only went because i knew the name and was curious. i'm so glad that i went. he was absolutely the surprise act of the weekend. LOVED him. and OMG when he teased the crowd about Diana Ross, everyone lost their shit.  i think he actually lost the crowd a little bit on that one; sort of a bad move, imo. he brought everyone up to a frenzy and then was like, ya just kidding. lol

I'm very glad to see Kanye got his just deserts at because this is exactly how he acted in 08 and blamed it on Pearl Jam then. I hope bonnaroo is finished with Mr ego and treats it's loyal roo fans better next year.

How can anyone not love Lionel? He was a Commodore, for fuck's sake!

i really wish i could find a video of him working the crowd in between songs, but it doesnt seem to exist quite yet. if i find one, i'll post it here. he had a good 50,000 people eating out of his hands

this was no "lay down on the lawn and cool off" kind of show. this was a "dance your ass off even if you don't know the music" type of show. the man put on a great show jam-packed full of energy.

What a feeling...
