Stage search?

The search is fairly thorough. Like any other search, it's gonna vary based on the searcher's temperament and how long they've been on shift. Some may stop giving a shit towards quitting time, some may be tired and cranky and looking to make trouble.

No outside food or beverage is allowed, nor is anything that can be reasonably considered a weapon, except canes or other disability aids. They're pretty good about allowing chairs and small shade-giving structures, as long as they're low to the ground and don't obstruct anyone else's view. New this year: no paper "Chinese" lanterns. Obviously, anything that would be illegal anywhere else is also prohibited.

The only place to stash things that aren't allowed that I know of is your own tent/RV. which may be quite a hike from the stage if you're not VIP/SVIP, so think well before you pack your day bag. If anyone has different info on this, please share.

I was able to sneak in some small snacks (Clif bars and trail mix) by concealing them within some other stuff in my bag (baggies of TP for example). They're pretty thorough, though.  But DO bring an empty plastic water bottle to fill on the inside.  The filling station for water is pretty nice.

Am I understanding no camelbacks?

While looking at some of last years videos, I saw quite a few people with camelbaks. 

So it's like most other festivals we've been to camelbacks are OK as long as emptied before entering?
