Anyone interested in creating a very unofficial Lockn' Time Capsule?
Sounds like fun to me...
I was thinking of a smallish metal, sealable container - or a closed large PVC pipe - part of the fun is coming up with a design.
In it would go items to tell future generations about the Dead and Deadhead culture, the jam band scene and American post-hippie culture in general. And anything to illustrate the festival that brought us all together. Or, in keeping with the deadhead theme, whatever the fuck you want to toss in there.
I thought we could find an isolated, unused part of the farm and filter over there slowly at 3am and dig a hole and bury it. But, of course, that would be wrong and illegal so we really could not do that!
Hopefully a couple of hundred years would pass before it was found anyway, wherever it was buried

[EDIT] No bags of weed of sheets of acid. As helpful as that might be to future generations trying to understand us, if we do that someone will just dig it up the following year...
