I don't guess you need those brush horns for anything, lol. Or do you?
Bar extensions. YES! I love those bar extension. Must-have for long rides, to change hand and arm position, etc. I tried a couple of bikes with drop bars, and decided I did not like using drop bars at all. But I do like having the extensions on my flat bar.

If you like them, keep them. But they're honestly for keeping brush from effing up your hands when you're riding on single-track.

I always liked them for leverage in climbing and alternate hand positions. Time trialers use them for same.
