Great. Now I have to get a "smart" phone.
Expect a "safety fee" added to the ticket: over/under $25 anyone?
What worries me about these types of plans and fixes is that they won't be just temporary to address the pandemic, but will remain in place in some form afterwards. Think about the closed workplaces and work-from-home that will remain that way after we are cured "because they can."
I also find it a bit offensive that one has to qualify to attend a public event*. They better give you your money back if you flunk. This also means you can't sell or give your tickets away, and I'm not talking about scalping. If i buy tickets for my family I have to register each family member (so much for group trips like a company trip to the ball game).
*Although an entertainment event is a private enterprise, there is a level of open access required by various public accommodation and anti-discrimination laws.

Right, because ticketmaster has done so much to build up trust in itself as a company of course I'd trust them with my health information.
They double pinky swear not to store or sell it!

I'm thinking the vaccine will be free once it's available...so that should be the poor man's way into the concert.

The people who refuse to be vaccinated, including some who have good reason, will demand access, and may be able successfully to sue their way in. This would first be for a sporting event, more likely, than a concert.
Under some of the current mask rules, people who (say they) have health reasons not to wear one can merely state that, and are not required either to prove/verify it or say what the health reason is. If the same policy applies regarding vaccination, the screening process will be as ineffective as temperature checks, and the burden will fall on the responsible among us who will comply.
BTW my sister Sara calls those who disregard or disbelieve the pandemic "rat lickers" after the people who, during the Plague, would lick rats to "prove" it was all a hoax. I find that label rather apt.
