Any movie that includes Christmas as part of the plot (as Die Hard clearly does) is a Christmas movie. So are the rom-coms Sleepless in Seattle, When Harry Met Sally, While You Were Sleeping, and You've Got Mail. The movie is fundamentally different without Christmas, therefore they are Christmas movies.

Ghostbusters II is set in the timeline from Christmas to New Years but I don't think that makes it a Christmas movie. You do have this:I say yes. But can Ghostbusters also be a Christmas movie?
