5 pound breast cooked for 35 minutes. Perfection! Probably the best one I've cooked yet. Crispy skin and moist tender breast meat

The electric fryer is great. No need to get up at 6 am to put that bird in the oven. You only need two hours from the time you start heating the oil until the time you are ready to eat. You can cook up to a 20 pound turkey in this thing. You get the same results every time, never have to worry about if it is "done" or not...

I made an injection marinade and a dry rub. Turned out pretty tasty.

We celebrated Thanksgiving today with our son and his girlfriend. Bob enjoyed the turkey he roasted. No Tofurky for Thanksgiving here. Back to our regular diet when the leftovers are all gone.

Last year we had enough people at the house to require two turkeys. One we did in the Traeger smoker, and it was the most popular of the two.

This years carcass is in the stockpot as we speak.
