Where will you be Memorial Day Weekend, 2021

We may have shows by Memorial Day, but I doubt festivals are back that quick. I could see some single day, multi artist mini festivals. Music from Noon-Midnight, but overnight, multi day camping festivals might not come back til fall. I think we’ll see Red Rocks & outdoor independent venues open in May, smaller theaters this summer & then the big Live Nation Sheds by the end of summer. But I do think it’s on the way back soon.

Endless - That has tended to be my approach, both sentences, even down to looking to one or two canaries in the coal mine. With a biology background, I've generally saved my energy in making any guesses, other than, "it'll be a while".

I'm glad I started this thread still (if indeed I did that). I think I was in a weird 24 hour phase of optimism. I even started checking festival web pages while in it. The phase has mostly passed today, but I'll keep just a tiny bit of first half 2021 optimism in my heart.  Enough to watch status of those three Memorial Day events.  

We have rollover tix to Roosterwalk Memorial Day weekend. I won’t be surprised if they move it to sometime this fall. I don’t think Peach will happen in early July either. I’m still holding out hope for Jerry Jam in NH at the end of July though.

My buddy is GM at Deer Creek & he’s told me that some bands are putting holds on dates for August & after. Nothing is booked, just holds & the rescheduled gigs from last year so far. He said if everything goes moderately well that we’ll have shows this fall and that it will be busy, lots of overlap & that proximity clauses will get waived so that everybody (venues & bands) can hit as many markets as they can & help these places out.

It would be Jubilee, but it won't.

We'll be at the "Non Rooster Walk" at Pop's Farm.

Allegedly we'll be at Dark Star...Jubilation. My apologies for forgetting to put it up on here.

Gotta say though, after perusing the faq I'm having second thoughts. Here's a Question that apparently hasn't been Frequently Asked: will any actual fun be allowed?
