String Summit Family: In response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the uncertainties surrounding the timeframe of vaccination rollout and subsequently Oregon’s timeline to opening up and allowing mass gatherings, we have made the difficult decision to further postpone Northwest String Summit festival and reschedule the 20th Anniversary Northwest String Summit for July 21-24, 2022. We will automatically refund all tickets purchased online. Further details regarding refunds for both online and hard tickets can be found here.

While this was a difficult decision, we hope to share soon what we’ve been working on for THIS YEAR (2021) at Horning’s Hideout. Stay tuned on our social channels and website for more information in the coming months!

Yeah, I saw this. Bob Horning is generally on top of things, good & bad. I’m kinda surprised they called it this early but I understand it’s probably easier than “wait & see” is on people. I’d say this doesn’t bode well for anything major before the very end of summer. Having been to Hornings a number of times, there’s few places as nice to see music & camp. I hope shows return there soon.

Hornings is not really a bell weather. Bob probably just doesn’t want the liability & hassle. Plus dude probably makes more renting it out for weddings than he does off NWSS. He makes Shapiro look like Bill Graham.
