If Panic is Aug 6-8, String Cheese is available Aug 20-22. They’re booked Aug 28 so that last weekend wouldn’t work.
If they book Cheese for 3 nights I will be there with Bells on ready to rage. That would be my number 1 choice but I’m not too hopeful.
At this point, I’d gladly trade what I have for guaranteed 3 nights of Cheese.

That sounds like it could be legit. I think JRAD is the best bet for a “multi band” event. They could have Ghost Light since Hamilton’s already there & add Holly into the JRAD set, maybe a Benevento Russo Duo Set or Marco with his side band or just solo on the piano.

Cheese would be perfect for a 3 night run there though. Have 2 Sets of SCI each night, EOTO late night, have Kyle’s Band open one night, Billy & Jillian one night & have Keller show up on Sunday. If they wanted to get crazy have Kang get Panjea together or Hann & Travis get Kimock for a Praang set. That would be the weekend to end all weekends.

Long time viewer, first time poster (hope I'm doing it right).
1) If we're looking at something in August, surely the dates won't interfere with any of the D&Co shows 8/16 through 8/28.
2) I'm gonna need the fest to give us some kind of reassurance ASAP. Hell, I'll take a winking emoji on social media at this point.

I did not involve myself in jrad presale today hoping the august rumor is true and they will be scheduled first weekend. I’m literally putting all of my eggs in this basket. Starting a new job and need to be selective this year. The waiting is killing ne!

I’ve kept all my weekends in August open except for the last one. Aug 27-29 is Be Kind Music Festival at DeVault Vineyard. I will be really bummed if I have to choose between two great events that weekend. On the brighter side ... isn’t great that we are even discussing overlapping live music events! Things are looking brighter every day.

JRAD’s gonna be August 13th-15th. That’s what the “save the dates” thing is on the schedule they posted.

The Lockn Site’s August dates will be the same weekends as the Dead & Co East Coast Tour. The JRAD weekend will be just before tour starts, the next weekend is the same as the New York/Philly run and the last weekend is the same as SPAC/Hershey weekend. Shapiro’s probably trying to compete with that tour a little & trying to give people an alternative. How much of that crowd he draws depends on who he books.

If you think about it, a show like DeadCo will always sell out with enough people equal to the ticket buyers who want to go. So another show by a similar (market) band nearby isn't really competing. No reason "they" can't fill both venues at the same time.
