Half my crew still hasn't gotten the emailed tix yet - how's the crew here fairing?

Mine came right back with my order receipt--I ordered it yesterday. Because I have two bundles for camping I have to check in personally at the gate box office I assume to get that.

FWIW - Melissa just emailed my friend saying if you don't get your tix in time not to worry that they can look you up by name at arrival.

A swimsuit would work  . Anything but cotton. A cotton tshirt is the worst. Some kind of polyester blend that wicks moisture and is quick-drying works best for the heat and humidity. Breathable rain coat is the best for rain. Poncho are usually some kind of plastic that won't breathe and may keep you dry but is hot as hell and uncomfortable to wear. Or, just stand in the rain and get wet. That works too...

Breathable raincoat and acceptance of just being rained on, check! Good to know there is no magical gear I am missing out on. 

This is the only truly breathable rain gear. It will also keep others socially distant from you, at lease those of the opposite sex.

I usually wear Teva sandals. They work great when it’s raining and hot. Unfortunately I had to have a big toenail removed two weeks ago so my Tevas are not an option this weekend. Wearing socks and rain boots in 95 degree weather is not going to be very pleasant. 

silk or polyprop liner sock first
thick ragg wool or smartwool sock next
short boots incl leather
this allows your feet to breath better and wicks sweat away
to prevent or stop blisters, rub bar soap on your outer sock at the high points
