Joe Russo's Almost Dead August 13-15 on the farm!

Marking their fifth journey to the farm, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead kicks- off LOCKN’ Farm Summer 2021, by headlining the weekend of August 13, 14, and 15.



In addition to playing two full sets of JRAD every night, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead will play hour-long sets, which they've dubbed as, “Other Shit,” with non-Grateful Dead material on Friday and Saturday nights, immediately following the second set.



We can’t wait to welcome you on the Farm. Please read the following arrival instructions and tips carefully to help ensure a smooth entry process and a great start to your weekend.





TICKET DELIVERY

You should have already received your digital LOCKN’ Farm ticket(s) via email from Front Gate Tickets. Wristbands and camping vehicle passes will NOT be mailed. If you haven’t, check your spam folders.



Still can’t find your digital ticket, sign into your LOCKN' Farm - JRAD - Front Gate Tickets account to obtain and resend to yourself.



EVENT ENTRY

You may either present your digital mobile ticket(s) on your device or bring a printed copy.

Cell service may be limited, so take a screenshot of your ticket’s barcode in case you have trouble connecting.

Have your ticket ready with your phone brightness turned all the way up before reaching the scanner.

Once your ticket(s) is scanned and validated, you will receive an admission wristband to be worn for the duration of the event.

Interaction with staff will be limited & contactless.

One admission ticket / barcode is per person and valid for that date and access level only

One camping ticket / barcode is valid per vehicle for that camping level only

3-Day ticket holders receive event admission on Friday, August 13th, Saturday August 14th and Sunday August 15th

Friday only ticket holders can attend Friday, August 13th

Saturday ticket holders are valid for entry on Saturday August 14th

Sunday ticket holders are valid for entry on Sunday August 15th

DRIVING DIRECTIONS



From CHARLOTTESVILLE, travel 35 miles south on 29 South.

From LYNCHBURG, travel 22 miles north on 29 North.



Exit Route 29 (Thomas Nelson Highway) at Arrington Road, turn left onto Diggs Mountain Road, and proceed to LOCKN’ Farm (Gate 5). Follow staff instruction and signage.





ARRIVAL INFO



To expedite entry for everyone, be sure all passengers have their digital ticket available, and camping / parking digital passes are displayed properly. Upon scanning validation, each guest will receive an event wristband to be worn at all times for the duration of the event. Camping vehicles will receive a window marking. All vehicles will be searched upon entering the campgrounds and all individuals are subject to search when entering the Venue.





Camping arrival hours:



Friday, August 13th: 9am – 8pm

Saturday, August 14th: 9am - 8pm

Sunday, August 15th: 9am – 8pm



No vehicles may enter campgrounds after tolls close at 8pm. Plan to arrive early and consider traffic delays. Camping vehicles must exit by 10am on Monday, August 16th. *Guests arriving outside the hours listed above will be directed to the Day Parking area until the toll booths reopen the following day. There is no camping permitted in the day parking area. Vehicles must exit the single-day parking area by 10 am the next morning, or are subject to towing and additional expenses..



The venue opens at 4pm on Friday & Saturday, and 2pm on Sunday.

LOCKN' Farm Box Office Hours:

Saturday, August 14th: 9am - 8pm

Sunday, August 15th: 9am – 8pm



For event ticket assistance, additional Ticket Sales, or Will Call, visit the LOCKN' Farm Box Office located adjacent to the event entry gates.





SECURITY

Be sure you know what’s prohibited in the Festival grounds and Show Field. All vehicles and individuals will be searched upon entrance.





WEATHER

LOCKN' Farm is held outdoors and is RAIN or SHINE barring extreme weather conditions.

Admission passes for this outdoor event are purchased at risk of inclement weather.

The event is located on natural terrain, so if it rains, there may be mud in some places.

All sales are final and non-exchangeable. Tickets are non-transferrable.



HEALTH & SAFETY

LOCKN’ Farm’s COVID-19 safety protocols comply with evolving local, state, and federal requirements. We are planning for plenty of space — in the Show Field and campgrounds — for everyone to comfortably enjoy the return of live music at LOCKN’ Farm.



We ask that all attendees support these efforts. Be well – if you do not feel well, or are considered high-risk, please stay home.

ACTIVITIES

SoberLockn: 4 meetings daily Times: 11am, 1pm, 3pm, 5pm, Tentative late night meetings.

Willie’s Joint: Kick back at this gathering place in the Showfield presented by Willie’s Reserve.

WaterLockn’: Saturdays & Sundays. Sign up for WaterLockn’ to hold your spot, located at the Activities Field near the Rainbow Bridge. Look for the yellow school bus that will leave from Gate 1 near the WaterLockn’ sign up tent at ¼ to the hour, every hour starting at 9:25 AM and last return at 5:30 PM

Morning Yoga: At the Activities Stage / Tent 9:30 am to 10:45 am Saturdays & Sundays.

Massage: Saturdays & Sundays at the Green Thumb Wellness Garden.
