I figure they are not ready to announce a lineup, but at least is there info available on all the other stuff?

Or are we just to wait and see what they post on Friday and make a snap decision?

I think they’ll have that “Brothers” grouping from The MSG Show on Saturday night since it’s the 10 anniversary and all. That means Mule on the bill, TTB headlining a night & probably a Dead Themed Oteil & Friends Set somewhere too. Peach always has great music for a good price but camping there is rough, it’s like “Hell’s Half Acre” going up & down that hill.

Not gonna do it. Even a stellar lineup can't prepare my old and out-of-shape body for that mountain. And the Evil Nation fees always make me angry. It's a shame that a big fest with a great lineup happens so close to where I live and I just can't bring myself to go back there.

What sells out on this first wave?

I hate buying a ticket to an unknown lineup. I might do that for Lockn', but not Peach.

I am assuming if I want to park in the external lot and camp on the mountain, I am safe waiting for the lineup announcement.

There are onsite parking passes for sale on Friday, right? They sell out almost immediately?

I would also like to check out Glamping, but that will probably be too costly for too little return for me.

I wish I could peruse the options before I had to buy...

If you’re all in without the lineup… my advice is book a hotel room at Montage Mountain tonight, they have shuttles to the show, it’s just the way to go at Peach, then just buy a ticket for “reserved” seats under the Pavillion, in the lawn with the tent & the slope, the view isn’t the greatest, so I’d go with Pavillion tickets, not VIP though. That’s the winner for Peach. Fuck that mountain side camping & if it rains… forget about it. Good luck & have fun.

On-site parking and RV camping will sell out ridiculously quick. And you have to buy a ticket to gain access to buying those things. If you are planning to camp on the mountain, I strongly recommend the on-site parking. It will eliminate half of your "wait in line to board a vehicle with all of my camping gear" time. If you end up not wanting the parking pass it will be super easy to sell.

They do usually sell single-day tickets much closer to the festival dates. But not for Thursday for some reason.

I am in as well.

I went GA with camping on the mountain* and an onsite parking upgrade.

I wanted to do a reserved pass, but the difference in price between a GA pass ($169) and a reserved pass ($399) was $230.

$230 just to watch the headliners from a seat! I'll pass...

So for $311 I got a 4 Day General Admission+Camping pass and a Weekend Parking For Camping GA pass. Still a pretty good deal for a 4 day festival.

Now all I have to do is hope the lineup does not suck!

*The fix is in for no rain on festival weekend. Looseankles, who I understand in in tight with the Dancing Gods**, is going to do her special "No Rain" dance for all of us. I can't wait!

** Forum points (Animal issued) for any who have read the books or even knows of their existence. (No googling!)
