That looks attractive for me and my wife. I came out of retirement to build a house for a dear friend (no good deed goes unpunished) and should be done mid April so it depends on her schedule and what’s going on with Covid which makes buying early a gamble. On her last trip her connecting flight was canceled and she had to ride back in coach or wait in Chicago for 3 days to maintain first class which her insurance was only willing to pay the difference but she had to be back for work. We haven’t seen anything for a while because of Covid and leaning toward gambling on it right now 😁

Went to the first, absolutely the best overall fest experience I've ever had. I'm blowing most of my summer fest $ to try and get room w/ balcony facing stage. It'll sell out in seconds, though.

when do you think tickets will be on? They have on-site camping?
Oh shit dude, their on-site camping is sick...IF...you don't mind taking a ski lift up and (after dark) a bus back down. Otherwise, a lakeside stage and tons of space. Tix on sale Fri @ 11 but on site camping will be there forever.

2022: Tickets bagged for Bonnaroo and Floydfest.
2023: will buy Lockn tickets the second they go on sale.

Got my VIP Jr Suite balcony facing stage Tix. By the time I completed the order those rooms were gone. I'll open my suite for hospitality hours.

My personal review: It was fkn sick! Literally, a mini-apartment that was an elevator ride away from both stages. I had a ton of friends there and other than the price of admission, I only paid for a shirt and poster. It was within the price range of VIP Lockn, and the lineup delivered. Music wise: I will say I was on the fence with Samme Rae at Rooster, I'm now not in that camp unless she is sitting in with someone else, in which case, yeah. Theo Katzman was too mellow though I had high expectations, Neighbor is a jam band that might just sneak up on you, catch them when you can and see what you think. I was really impressed. Pretty much everyone else was what you'd expect: RUSO, RUSO'd....Pigeons Pigeoned, Greensky definitely Greensky'd, and my local favorites, Kendall Street and Dirty Grass converted new fans.
What was interesting to me: the first year - only festival fans knew about it....EVERY balcony had tapestries and was shoulder to shoulder. This year (3rd of 3) it was the opposite....only a few balconies had that party feeling and the room next to mine was empty the entire weekend. They priced the true fans out (of the VIP rooms at least). That being said: there are a ton of housing options close to the 'village' (both main stages) where a group of us can literally get a condo within walking distance.
It's too good an experience for you to miss if you're willing to do some planning about it.

Based on the observation, as stated in my original post, that 'festival people' in the 1st year were in abundance: all balcony's were packed the entire weekend, tapestries/lights/inflatables were on every balcony. This year, I think I saw 3 balconies decorated (one was next to mine), only saw a few ragers going on and mostly it was families/time-share condo owners....the point being I believe they priced the 'tru festy fans' out of that market which sucks. I can't speak to the camping at the bottom of the mountain.
