This event is for two weekends even though the calendar shows it running on the weekdays between.

I’ve been to this several times… I would assume Dead & Co will be the 2nd weekend since Mayer’s tour ends during the 1st Weekend. My advice for this festival is concentrate on buying your tickets for the late night shows 1st, before anything. The special “one off” late night gigs are the best part the festival. Headliners like D&C and WSP get shortened sets at The Fairgrounds and if they are who you are going to see it ain’t near worth it. Of the 6 times I’ve went I’ve went to the festival proper for 2 sets of music, the late nights in the Quarter & at World of Mardi Gras are where it’s at.

I love seeing Billy Strings in the top lines--what a rise to stardom! He's right in there with a lot of long term top performers.

He’s in that unique spot of being bigger than Nelly but still chasing Ludacris according to the announcement. Lol

#1 Thing on that lineup that I wanna see is “CeeLo Green’s James Brown Tribute”. I saw James Brown open for String Cheese on 4th of July back in the day & dude killed it, he woke up feeling like a Sex Machine that day.

Line look good. Only $ 67 a day for all 7 days. Quite reasonable. Accommodations on the other hand.
