yes it's the kind of mix that Lockn' needs--get younger. Could go with a curated one-third of those bands given the numbers restriction at Lockn'. And an announcement in February.

This isn't Lock'n for sure.

Although some people over there on the reddit are already unhappy about the conflicts.

I'm really tempted by this one, already have a hotel room in that cluster of hotels near Midway.

But part of me thinks I should wait until Dead&Co announce their tour.

I'd rather see all these bands--or even one day--than a DeadCo show.

It's an interesting approach from the promotion side and may be an unusual format since it's the inaugural event. Hard to sell tickets in advance to a "trust me it's going to be great" festival. well, it should be, but then there's Fyre Fly.....

Agreed, Lockn needs to either announce a “Hiatus” like other festivals do, announce a “Save The Date” for Lockn Farm Weekends or put up a for sale sign… they really mismanage that property and their mortgage payments have to add up without any return on the investment.

Answering questions on social media is great. I kind of liked the buildup and the anticipation and the FOMO that came from leaking bits of the lineup. In my opinion they could learn what they need to know from FloydFest. There are some things I don't like about FF but they are super awesome at communication and transparency. They are masters of it.
