Saw Sammie Rae & The Friends at Camp Greensky. Nicest thing I could say about them is "they have horns." Struck me as someone who bought themselves a band. Not a good look when a band is billed as Somebody & The Somethings and you come away saying "They'd be a LOT better if they fired Somebody."

I guess if you're wasted on something and just want to dance, they'd be okay.

I wanted to like that act more than I actually did; however there is most definitely an audience for them. Time will tell.
