To all of my friends traveling to San Fran today and this weekend safe travels and have a groovy time. Should be high vibrations there this weekend. I could feel the electricity cracklin' at Boulder so I'm sure there will be more of the same this w/e.

Any chance they play Last Time? I call Attics of My Life Friday night, OMSN for Saturday, and Brokedown Palace for Sunday as encores.

I’m predicting a brokedown/playing reprise encore to close it out on Sunday.

On a slightly more personal note, I’ll put this out into the universe: this has been my first tour since I stopped drinking (not sober or anything, just off the booze) and I hit 6 months of freedom next Wednesday. I’ve been chasing wharf rat all summer and of course they played it the shows before and after my 7 consecutive show run. Dammit give me a wharf rat this weekend!

Althea is definitely coming out this weekend. I think PITB reprise to end it as a way of them reflecting on how much fun they’ve all had “playin in the band”. Brokedown for the year jerking goodbye song followed by them going out on a triumphant, fun and reflective note. Plus the PITBs this tour have been really good, Bristow and SPAC playing were two of my tour highlights.

My buddy I’m traveling with has been calling terrapin as the last song and I’ve been calling playing. Which means they’ll probably go out on a France or Samba in the Rain or something.

Lol this is so stupid. Crowds, lines, traffic, and unprepared/overwhelmed venues have been a major issue all tour, and this guy wants to throw a free show? Talk about hot take click bait journalism. And here I thought Scott Allen was the master of this in GD world.

However… I do think they could have streamed the last 3 Shows for FREE on Nugs. Since it sold out, they’re getting paid. They coulda threw fans a bone for selling out their whole tour, by throwing us a freebie this weekend. A sorta “Thank You”… but I get it.

Last nights second set was this band at their best. Playin/other one/terrapin all flowed perfectly, UJB out of space then reprising both other one and playin. Dew brought the house down.

Sitting in the hotel taking in the fact that this is the last D&C show morning I’ll have. With PITB finished my final encore call is out but there’s tons left to play. It’s been a great weekend and a great almost 8 years with this band, heres to one more.
