So, tear drops are campers, which require an RV pass. The camping donation is for tent/car campers. If you show up with a camper and no RV pass they will likely turn you away. I seriously suggest you contact the organizers before you drive all the way down here and tell them what you have in mind. You can reach them through Eventbrite.I did not. Suebhunny- I second TOO’s suggestion. Contact the owners, Jay and Constance, and see what they say. If your Dr gives you a temporary handicap placard you might ask about ADA options. If that or Dry RV camping is not an option then you could always just bring your tent and camp with us tent campers. The way Alder Creek is set up you won’t need lots of extra stuff. They’ll have at least one food truck there and often have a potluck dinner one night. Between the stage, the Sugar Shack and Jonesville, you won’t be spending hardly any time at your camping spot anyway. So, tear drops are campers, which require an RV pass. It was this statement under the GA camping listing that made me think I was ok: "For tents and Rv's, Please make a Donation for your Camping to benefit a local charity. RV sites used to be donation only, now they are paid/reserved sites.That's probably old verbiage but I can see where it would be misleading.

My response from Alder Creek: "Your comprehension of the the description was exactly as intended, and your pop up or any size RV is certainly welcome. There is plenty of space for camping, but we only set aside a small portion for the reserved spots."

I have a question for all of you experienced Alder Creek folks. Is there cell phone service? I have Verizon and want to know if I'll be able to check in on my mom while we're at the Yarnival. Thanks in advance.

It depends on where you are on the property. I typically have service (Verizon) at Jonesville so it shouldn't be a problem. I'll be parked right in the middle of the action so we're easy to find.I have a question for all of you experienced Alder Creek folks. Is there cell phone service? I have another question. It says "Leave behind only your footsteps." Does that mean I have to pack out my garbage? Or is there a place to leave trash and recyclables there?
