It used to be you could get a room in the main areas without VIP tix. This year, those rooms are only VIP. If we could get a bunch of people to rent a condo or something that is within walking distance, it might be a great value. The smallest room w/ balcony is $2,500+ so I'm not sure if I'm making it this year. Its a good line up but not great (to me).

Camping looks beautiful but requires taking the ski lift back and forth until it gets dark and then you have to bus it. Kinda cool once or twice a day.

You have my attention with the bunch of people in a condo idea. The GA room packages become affordable if the lodging is split several ways. Camping at the bottom of the hill is not an option for Worf.It used to be you could get a room in the main areas without VIP tix. This year, those rooms are only VIP. When you camp at the bottom, what is the distance from parking to your tent site?
Need to know how many sherpas to engage. Are yaks OK? They aren't really pets.

here is an inquiry I sent and reply about camping, etc. FYI
hey Smosey,
Thanks for reaching out about the 4848 Festival! We are glad you'll be joining us this year. Apologies for the delayed reply.
Gates for camping will open Thursday around Noon. More detailed info regarding arrival will be sent out closer to the festival.
Must won't start until closer to 4pm on Thursday.
Unfortunately, all the campers have to pack up and leave on Sunday.
Tent sites are first come first serve.
There will be a drop off zone for gear, as the parking area is short walk from the camping area. We cannot give you an exact number not knowing exactly where your campsite or your car will end up at Base Camp.
Let us know if you have any other questions.
