August 27th, 2024 (Jacksonville, FL) – Multiple Grammy winner Derek Trucks today announces Ass Pocket Whiskey (APW), a new company set to release limited bourbons exclusively in 200ml flask sizes. APW’s first release, a Heritage Kentucky Straight Bourbon, will premiere exclusively at this year’s Bourbon & Beyond festival.
APW is born out of Derek’s passion for bourbon and his frustration with the current culture of collection over consumption. As a dedicated bourbon enthusiast, Derek was disillusioned by the way whiskey has become more about hoarding rare bottles than savoring them. APW challenges this trend by offering premium bourbons in smaller, more accessible flask sizes, encouraging fans to enjoy their whiskey without the fear of “ruining” a collectible bottle.
