I found out I can convert my old white gas stove to propane, for the small or large cylinders, with a device that costs about $15-20. Not a bad improvement on my $5 yard sale (but mint condition) classic stove!

I found out I can convert my old white gas stove to propane, for the small or large cylinders, with a device that costs about $15-20. Not a bad improvement on my $5 yard sale (but mint condition) classic stove!
How big is the stove? We had a grill that ran on the big "Blue Rhino" tanks and it was damn near as powerful as one of those grills. We got a little adapter for the Coleman bottles, but if the grill was on for a sufficient period of time the little bottles would freeze & seize like a No2 tank at an all-you-can-huff party.
Now that I've looked up white gas and discovered that it's basically Zippo fluid, I can tell you that yeah, they're definitely not gonna allow that.

I'd love some tips on making camp coffee, other than by buying a device. I figure I can bring ground coffee, boil water, and pour it
through a paper filter?
