However, I'm going to use this opportunity to bring up an uncomfortable subject that I was hoping to avoid having to discuss.

Posts like "can i sneek [sic] in whip its and a whipped cream dispenser [sic]" do not encourage the kind of discussion we want to host on this forum. This is a publicly accessible message board. It has already been established that people officially associated with Lockn' have/do visit this site. Moreover, it could easily be viewed by other "authorities" who have an interest in the festival. Discussing ways to smuggle things into the festival, the venue, etc. on any public forum is generally a terrible idea.

For those who are unaware, and think I'm just being paranoid, know there have been several instances of this happening at other festivals. Jam Cruise was targeted after law enforcement officials found a bunch of drug-related discussion on the Jam Cruise message board. They had a drug dog waiting before people even got on the boat. A few years ago at Bonnaroo, police were opening and searching people's peanut butter after getting the "tip" on how to smuggle drugs in from an internet message board.

I don't think this is something that needs to be in the rules; for the most part everyone on this board has been responsible about their discussion up until this point (and I appreciate that).

Perhaps less serious, but a word to the wise: I wouldn't post my tips for smuggling beers into the venue (or other ways to break the "rules") either. Whatever you suggest on this forum is exactly what they're going to look for when we get to the festival.

Hopefully this is the last time I have to talk about this and I'm sorry if I sound like anyone's Dad.
