I'm in vip car/tent cause I'm old and I'm already spending a mint getting there and this is the first big Vacation I've had in several years (kids in college). I hope I'm not too snobby although after all I am a VIP....(for those of you who couldn't hear the inflection in my tone, that was supposed to be a joke). I'm flying in solo (how low you ask? but I digress...again) with minimum provisions, so I will be looking for friends!

haha my thoughts exactly. that treeline is looking like prime real estate. I will not be bringing a bike now either, I figure if I wanna take a ride then I will just take advantage of their free bicycles.

I guess while we can hope for good spots, we can't control that--don't they send you to the "next spot" as you come in, or do they spread it around?
Seems like if they know they sold 50% of a type of ticket they'd let us spead out rather than pack 100% in haldf the space and leave the rest open.
As VIP car camping I htink I'd like steeplechase; I don't need to sleep on the "floor" and would prefer a bit of a retreat. But I guess it's not up to me, but a simple twist of fate.
