For those who don't know, The Days Between are from Jerry's birthday on 8/1 to the anniversary of his passing on 8/9. The one time of year when Deadheads (more than usual) celebrate the life and art of this amazing creature. Are you doing anything special to commemorate?

I'm not doing anything super special during that week, but on 8/10 we're going to see the show below. I figure a day late is better than nothing. The venue is where we saw the Cabinet New Year's show, so we know the beer etc is good, at least.

I really want that guy's shirt, btw...

Holy cow those guys were good! The vocal portions of most of the songs were mediocre, The guy had a good enough voice for it and some background vocals would have made it perfect. But the jams were otherworldly good.

So, the banjo player and the fiddle player were on the verge of being very good. The harmonies were pretty tight, and only fell apart a couple of times. Beer was decent once I found one I liked. A nice time was had by all.

I feel the same way about jeff. Although I do think it will be interesting to hear Aaron Magner play with BK and maybe sit in with a few other bands. I am not a Disco Biscuit fan at all, but he may add some interesting keys to BK allstars and maybe sit in with Phil.

Warren played one of Jerry's old guitars and there were times he seemed to be channeling Jerry (or maybe it was just the state I was in)
