Correct - they bought the farm adjacent to the racetrack, so they own the campgrounds but not the venue. I'm excited, as this is yet another (huge) indication they plan on keeping Lockn' going for years to come!

Reversing the inside of the track like this makes a lot more sense. Looks like VIP camping has the biggest location improvement. Do they provide transportation for the ADA camping? That seems rather far....

I guess the Shakedown Stage has been renamed the Relix stage.

The bonus for preferred tent is that I am now in front of the stage instead of behind it, so it is likely I can hear the music even if I abscond to my camping area for food/beverages.

Also Triangle is closer, so that is a big bonus since that is where I want to be late night.

When the promoter mentioned on FB that changes to the map would occur...I said they'd be turning the field around.

It just makes sense.

Logistically and participation wise.

If you were at the side (like we were) of the stage or behind...the sound was all droned.

This new lay our is going to rock.

From what they said it's only .6 miles in distance. I think forest really didn't change - as the stage backside was all you could see and you still had to walk nearly half way into the field area.

This is awesome. The triangle stage is the edge of the map and there is no camping past that. They have turned the stage around and will face campsites and now campsites surround the stage area. This is incredible and super exciting. It said the farthest camp,spot is a mile and half closer than last year. Well done lockn
